New Years

Hello Internet,

In a couple of hours, it will be 2010. I am glad that 2009 is over as not much good has happened to me in this lousy year.

So, my New Year resolution would be to stop making New Year resolutions. Why? Because every year I made New Year resolutions, I barely followed any of them, so I decided to stop making resolutions. Also, I hope that 2010 will be better in my favor since I had to put up with 2009.

So, what are your resolutions? What do you plan to change for 2010 (please, nothing too personal)? Comment and share what you would like to change, no matter big or small, silly or smart.

Favorite Shirt

Hello Internet people,

Today, I'm wearing my absolute favorite t-shirt, it's 24 pandas doing Tai Chi (as shown in the image). I got this t-shirt in Shanghai, China for 30 RMB (which was about $6 at the time that I got it). I find it pretty awesome and comfortable.

I try not to get this t-shirt dirty for I am afraid the stain might not come off. I treat it like gold (only I'm aware it doesn't have such a value).

Well, what about your favorite shirt? Do you even have one? What does it look like? Why do you like it? Comment and share what you have to say about your favorite shirt.

Sorry!

Hey blog readers,

I apologize for not posting for a couple of days, but yesterday I was sick and all I did was rest and watch some DVD's I got for Christmas. The day before I was at a friend's house.

Well, I would just like to shout out (again) my friend Dennis' blog (www.nolongerdfunct.blogspot.com) and my sister's (www.jaicca.blogspot.com). My sister's blog is currently a work in progress, but she has started on it.

Thanks for your patience, I will update on other stuff soon,

I'm Back!

Hello Internet,

Yesterday, I went to a water park in Niagara Falls. It had a hotel and an arcade, so I utilized them.

After we checked into our hotel room, we took a couple of pictures and looked at the gifts at the gift shops (things there are extremely expensive). After that, we went to change and go to the indoor water park.

It was very humid, however, the water was cool. My friend and I went on almost every single tube or other ride they have to offer, then we went off and fooled around, until we decided to go back to our hotel room. They give you a wristband that's a key to your room and it's really awesome.

From there, we played cards and ate dinner. A bit after dinner, we decided to go to the arcade while the adults went to the casino. I finally beat two on-rails arcade shooters. It was really fun and my other friend and sister got a couple of prizes.

By then, we were quite tired, so we went to sleep. I couldn't sleep as there wasn't that much space and the sheets were quite uncomfortable, so I couldn't sleep (plus I had 2 cups of coffee that day). I slept at 1 a.m. and woke up at 2:30 a.m. I then couldn't sleep until 6, in which I got another hour of sleep.

This morning, my sister, grandmother, and mother, along with some other parents went to an outlet mall for some awesome and cheap stuff. I stayed back with my friend and we went to the arcade again. At around 11 a.m., we went to pick the shoppers up and we headed home.

So, that's my story for my trip to a water park. Post what you did to celebrate the holidays, even if it wasn't to celebrate the holidays. Share what you have to say. By the way, if you can make out the water park I went to, props to you.

Early Christmas

Hello Interwebs people,

Yesterday, my family opened our presents. I got some DVD's, panda items, and other stuff. We had to open our presents early since on Friday (Christmas) we were going to Niagara Falls. The rest of my family got some other stuff, and it's kind of hard to remember all of the presents as there were a lot.

Well, that's my story, tell yours (for any Christmas you had and include the reaction). Comment and share your stories.

Movies

Hello Internet people of the Internet,

Today, I went to see Avatar. It's so good, it deserves my free advertisement. I recommend it to anyone who can understand English (which is pretty much everyone who could be reading this blog). The movie is very epic and exhilarating to watch, especially in 3-D.

The movie might have been good, but I still don't like going to a theater to watch movies. Why? Well:

First off, a movie ticket is just too expensive. Today was a Tuesday and that cinema has a deal on Tuesdays where you pay $14 and get a medium popcorn and a medium drink. On other days, the tickets are still expensive. Much more expensive than a DVD. Plus, with a DVD, you can watch it over and over. With a theater, you can only watch it once and you can't pause the movie and go for a washroom break.

Second of all, the floor is always sticky, and littered with popcorn, or other stuff like drinks. I don't understand why people can't just pick up their stuff and throw it in the garbage.

Finally, in more childish movies, you always have those mothers who decided to bring their 2 year old baby who still doesn't understand a single thing that goes on in the movie, let alone their own life. Those babies always cry and their mothers never do anything about it. If it's not babies, there's that one guy who doesn't want to be quiet, and either laughs a lot, has a cell phone on, or talks the whole way through the movie.

So, that's my thoughts on watching movies at a theater, so share yours and let's debate about it. What do you think about watching movies at theaters?

Comment and share what you have to say.

Books

Hey Internet,

For the past three days, I've been reading "Carrie" by Stephen King. I normally hate reading (and I still do), but I have to for school, and I actually find this book interesting and well written (it's by Stephen King, what can you expect?).

I read for quite a while and I don't want to stop reading after reading it.

As stated before, I normally hate reading. Sometimes, it's just so boring and I don't like looking at words all the time (that's on paper).

So, today's question; what is your favorite book? Why? What are your thought on reading? Comment and share what you have to say about books and reading.

Thanks for reading (I used the word "reading" a lot in this post),

Hello People of Internets,

I made $3.02 today from Adsense! This is great as before I only made around $1.66 or so (that's from two random days) and today is my peak when it comes to the amount I made.

I would like to thank Adsense and everyone who clicked my ads and checked out my blog. Thanks to all of you.

Last Day of School

Hey Internet,

So, today was my last day before the winter break and it was chaotic. People were just screaming and letting food drop onto the floor. I was playing cards and I wasn't too loud.

I understand why everyone is loud; it's because their excited about the break. For me, the break just cane along. I wasn't counting down the days until school was going to be over, and now it is.

So, that's my story. Comment about your end of school adventures. Share what you think about celebrating not having to go to school.

Pets

Hello Internet,

So, today at school, some guy was working and then he noticed that there was some poop on his planner. Yes, somehow, his dog got onto to his table and took a dump on his planner. It was quite disgusting.

Also, he noticed that his gym shirt was wet. I don't know the exact reason, but it may also be another one of his dog's doings.

So, comment about what your pets did, no matter how funny or disgusting it is.

Drivers

Hey Internet,

You've been on the road with bad drivers at least once if you drive, and I have been (I don't drive, I'm just in a car with a driver) in such a situation. People stopping really close to your car, people rushing to turn, even if they see you coming, and so on.

The weirdest thing is that this occurred on a day where there is snow. Not all over the road, but it was snowing. I just have no comment.

So, post your comments about any incidents with you and driving. I apologize for such a short post.

"Borrowing"

Hey people of the computer,

I lend games and I borrow games all the time. Heck, I returned a Pokemon Blue I borrowed from a friend just today.

I'm fine with lending and borrowing games, except when people just never return the game back in its original form. I always return the games I borrow with the case, manual, and disk, or whatever came when I asked for the game.

That's now the same for the rest of my friends. One time, I lent a game to a friend. I had to keep that game in a jewel case, which would be alright, right? Wrong. That game just happened to be a Gamecube game so the disk was really small.

Today, I picked up a PC game from a friend, and he doesn't have the case so I had to bring it home in some other case. The same friend lent Halo 3 to another friend and he never actually returned it.

So the question for today is: do you think lending people is a good thing?

I personally think no as people often take things for granted and they don't treat it well and when it comes back, there's some flaw. Sure you can save money, but some people also take forever to return something. I lent my PC game to that friend much earlier this year, maybe even last year, I don't remember. I get it back today. That's just disappointing.

Comment below and let's discuss about this. Please, no hate-driven comments.

Deodorant

Hello Internet folks,

So my class and another class are having phys-ed (we were playing a modified version of dodgeball) and when we were changing in and out of our uniforms, so person was wearing deodorant, and he was particularly proud of doing so, so he asked me to smell it.

At first I declined, but just to make him stop talking, I sniffed it and it smelled okay (he applied it on his underarms), but it felt ever so awkward.

I'm not saying that it's weird to be proud of your deodorant, I'm saying that you shouldn't go around and tell people to smell it. It's weird and I think it could just be downright disgusting as the underarms are where you sweat quite a lot, and I don't want my nose going in the general direction of that area, anti-perspirant, or no anti-perspirant, it feels weird.

So, the question for today is: are you proud of wearing deodorant? If so, why? Would you go around asking people to smell it?

Favorite Desert?

Hey Internet peoples,

Today, I made cheesecake since I was bored. It was a New York style cheesecake with cherries on top. I haven't tried it just yet as it just came out of the oven. I'm not posting the recipe, unless there's a lot of demand for me to do so, then I will.

By the way, I can also make a chocolate cake from scratch, and pie (I often use already made pie dough. Everything else is by me).

Well, my question of the day would be what is your favorite dessert? Ice cream, pie, cheesecake, cake, or pudding? Which type of whatever is your favorite?

My personal favorite would be pie. It is the healthiest of the other ones, and I like the taste of the dough and the filling. Cheesecake would be a close second.

Hello Internet,

Hey people on the computer,

This is just a shout out. I have a friend who has just recently created a blog. Please visit his blog at http://nolongerdefunct.blogspot.com.

Anyways, to any of you still reading, today I bought 11 cans of soup of soup to donate. The person at the cashier asked "Hey kid, why are you buying so many cans?"

I replied: "Because I'm hibernating, so I have to prepare for the winter."

The cashier guy was like: "Really?"

I said "Yes, I'm going to be staying in my house sleeping until it is nice and warm."

I then quickly paid and got out, giggling on the way out.

So, that's the end of my shenanigans, now let me hear yours. What have you guys messed around with? What did you do? Comment and share about what you have to say.

Random cravings

Hello Internet,

I don't know why (I blame puberty), but I often have these random cravings for random fruits. First I wanted oranges, then I wanted pineapples, then grapes, and finally, bananas.

These cravings are odd and they haven't been occurring for any other type of food and are quite odd. However, it has gotten me to eat more fruits, which is great.

What is the end of the world going to be?

Hello Internet of the peeps,

I was wondering (while I was swimming) "What's going to be the end of the world, or at least most of the world?"

I first thought about nuclear war, which I would think would be the actual end. The end of the world I would like would be a zombie apocalypse and I was immune to the infection, like in Left 4 Dead (great game).

I don't believe in those things like 2012 or any superstitious things like that.

So, I would like to hear what you think is going to be the end of the world. What do you actually believe it is and what do you want it to be? Share your thought by commenting.

Bad Teams

Hello Internet people of the Internet,

2 days ago, I've been assigned a good group to work with. Today, I've been assigned to a bad team for volleyball (temporarily).

This team I was on had 3 slackers (I'm not one of them) and the other 3 were decent. This made some really poor results with the ball dropping in front of the person or people attempting to bump, even though the ball is a mile away.

So, that's my story, I would like to read your stories with bad groups. Are you one of those people in bad groups that make them bad, or do you try to encourage poor group mates to do better? Comment below and share your say.

Group work

Hello Internet people of the Internet,

Today at school, my class got a project on history (my least favorite subject). Normally I would be in a group with at least one slacker. That does not apply for today.

Yes, for once, I got a decent group for group work. Our group worked quietly and we made quite a lot of progress.

I apologize for such a short post, but since it's quite late, that's all.

Report cards

Hello strangers to the world of the Internet,

Today, I have received my most current report card for my grade. So far, my worst subject is phys-ed, which doesn't mean I'm failing, but I got my lowest mark there. For everything else (besides history), I'm doing very well in. For History, I got just a bit higher than phys-ed.

I was a bit surprised with what I have gotten for my first term. First of all, I don't think I do very well in class, second, I hate history, and third, I got A-'s for all my previous report cards in phys-ed.

I think I do know the reason, however. For the first term of this school, I have been with people who are not in a very good physical condition and I have been in teams where there are some people who are trying to show off.

So, my question of the day is that if you got your report card, did you get what you expected? And how do you cooperate with annoying people? Comment below and share with everyone.

By the way, I made the honor roll with 84% average. Yay.

Luck much?

Hello there peeps of the Net,

Today, I went to lunch at some restaurant and I was really full at the end.

Anyways, after lunch, my mom decided to go and buy some toilet paper, so we went to the grocery store near the restaurant. When we went in, my mom saw what seemed to be $100 on the ground (Canadian, as I live in Canada). No one was close by, so my mom decided to pick it up. She unfolded the $100 and she noticed it was actually 2 $100 bills.

And that's my story. Now, I'd like to hear your stories about luck, and whether you believe in it or not. Comment below and share what you have to say.

By the way, I don't believe in luck. I believe it is more about physics.

Pandas

Hello Internet folks,

I heard the news about Wang Wang and Funi (two giant pandas) are going to be staying in Australia for ten years.

I, as a panda lover, am excited about this, however, because I live where I do, I wont be able to see them and I'm pretty sure pandas won't be coming to this place. This makes me sad, but I do still have the Internet, stuffed pandas and pictures of pandas.

The reason why I love pandas is that they are very cute and playful.

So, pandas being my favorite animal, I would like to hear what your favorite animal(s) is/are. Why do you like that animal? Would you like to be that animal? Comment and share what you have to say about your favorite animal.

Public transportation

Hey people in front of your computer,

I was coming home from school today and I waited for a bus. Their were a bunch of people there (it was an after school trip for some people). The first bus that came, it was practically full. The second bus that came was about half full. I checked my watch and it was 3:30 and I didn't want to be at home too late.

So, I got on, along with the people who were going on the trip.

I don't have a very long story today, but I would like to hear any stories about your misadventures with public transportation. Just comment and share your thoughts about sharing rides with other people.

What's up with the market?

Hey people of the Internet,

I was having a carbonated drink (which will not be named, I don't want to advertise without being paid) earlier today. As I was drinking it, all I could think about was:

"Hey, if making the drink costs around $0.03 and the bottle costs at maximum $0.50, then why did I just pay $2.48 for this drink?"

I know that a lot of people want money, but why would they make things this expensive (I know it's not too expensive, but what I think I really should be paying is at max $1.50)?

I'm not just picking on drinks, but the whole market, like clothing making companies. They pay $0.05 to people, in China, who spend 20 hours a day to make clothing, without seeing who they are working for. Yet these companies sell clothing for around $60.00.

And talk about the animal cruelty. They have all these chicks born, only to lay eggs and be our dinners. I know I don't like advertising for free but these is a movie that talks a lot about this, and it's called The Corporation.

I don't like what companies are doing to earn profits, but I would like to hear about what you guys have to say. Do you mind that you're paying much more than the company is paying to get the clothes made and shipped to you? Comment below and feel free to talk about what you like or things that bother you in the market.

Coffee

Hey, what's going on guys?

Something happened at school today, that may not be really interesting, but I think I should share it with the reader I have.

I was at my locker, and this girl to the right of me (we'll call her person 1, or P1 for short) and talks about a person drinking coffee. Another guy beside me responds (we'll call him person 2, or P2 for short). Then I come in and ask if P1 or P2 drinks coffee. Neither one of them said yes.

P2 responds that he drinks hot chocolate. I asked if he puts sugar in it, and P2 asks if I mean the one at Tim Hortons or the instant ones.

I respond: "You go to Tim Hortons for hot chocolate?!"
He responds: "Yes."
I say "Okay."

Then I ask if P1 drinks coffee at Tim Hortons and she says:
"No, I drink tea there."
And I respond: "You drink tea at Tim Hortons?!"
P1 responds: "Yes."
I respond "Okay."

That's the end of my story, but I have a question for you guys. Do you like: tea, coffee, or hot chocolate the most?

My opinion is that coffee is the best (black). It gives me the energy boost I need sometimes and it's not sweet, unlike hot chocolate. It also has more taste than tea (at least I think so).

So comment on what you like most and why.

Yay, my first post

Hello there, people of the Internet,

This very post states my start of being a blogger (for this blog). I am quite excited about this and I hope that anyone who reads my blog, enjoys it.

Well, for today, I'll write about my likes and dislikes about school.

First off, my likes.

The one thing I really like about school is anything that is actually worth learning, and anything that is interesting and taught well.

Another thing I like about school, is meeting up with your friends. Friends, in my opinion, are probably one of the few reasons for being on this Earth. If it weren't for friends at school, my day (and probably your day) wouldn't be very interesting without someone to talk to, or make jokes with.

One last thing I like about school is that there are some really good teachers that will help people and they actually teach you things.

However,

I have many dislikes about school, but I will only name three of them.

The first thing I dislike about school is how early it starts. I am not an early riser and I'm not an early sleeper. In the morning, I'm always worried that I'm going to be late for school since it starts too early for me. I don't know about you, but for me, school starts at 8:45 a.m. and I hope to be in school at 8:30. It takes about 5-15 minutes for me to actually get to school and I wake up at around 8:00 a.m.

Another thing I dislike about school are the class clowns, especially the ones that aren't funny (I don't find many things funny anyways). Class clowns just take up so much of the time when you could be working. Since they take up time when you could be working, you then need to bring your work home, which leads to my final point.

Homework. The most tedious thing on the planet of Earth. I know that I don't have a lot of homework and people have it much worse than I do, but I still don't like homework. An excessive amount of homework increases stress and homework that requires a textbook could cause back problems when walking home from school.

Well, that's all for today, but I want you to post a comment about what you think about school. Do you like it, or hate it? What do you like or hate about school? I want to hear what you guys have to say.
