Oh, it's been a bad day...

Hello Internet,

Yes, today has been a terrible day for me. Last night, I slept a bit later than I expected and I woke up this morning significantly earlier (6:20 a.m., I usually get up at around 7:50 a.m.). I went for a jog this morning. Halfway, it started to rain. I was too tired to jog my way back home.

After breakfast, I walked to the bus stop, and fortunately, the bus arrives just as I got to the bus stop. There's one part that of my day that was actually in my favor.

At school, I stabbed myself with a needle on my compass.

For period 1, I couldn't do my work as well as I usually do and period 3, we didn't learn a thing (as usual). By the way, I had a nosebleed during period 1 (I was able to stop it, don't worry).

During lunch, I played a a card game with a friend. We played and the game just didn't end. I put all my energy trying to beat that guy and by period 4, I was tired to death.

The last 2 periods weren't as bad, but it was very boring. Period 5, we were trying to do a science experiment, but it took forever. Period 6, we were simply doing some review.

Well, that was my school day. I don't want to get too in depth with what I did after, heck I don't even want to talk about it, not because it's embarrassing, but because I have absolutely no more energy to type it up.

Just another one of those days.

Hello Internet,

As the title states, just another one of those days. School wasn't so bad, however, after PE, I felt extremely tired. So tired that I didn't even want to write.

After that, I had to go see the dentist. I say, after 2 years of not going to the dentist, all of these memories rush back. That was until they injected anesthetic into the right side of my mouth (there were two holes that they needed to fill up.

At first, I felt a little pain when they started drilling (not sure if that's what they did) into my teeth. After the anesthetic started to kick in, if it wasn't for the sound, I wouldn't have noticed there was anything in the right side of my mouth.

Everything went well and they filled up the two holes (not what she said). Soon, I was on my way. The anesthetic lasted for 2 hours. Within those 2 hours, I kept biting the right side of my tongue since it felt like nothing else. It was a funny feeling. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do, so I stopped.

Now, I don't feel the anesthetic anymore, however, whatever they used to inject it is really bothering me. It hurts when I move my jaw to the left.

Well, that was all. How was your last day of May 2010 before it leaves us forever (kind of depressing)? Post a comment below.

Why did you have to exist?

Hello Internet,

I must apologize for not posting very often these days, however, I must put my blame somewhere.

The blame will be put on a little online overhead shooter game called Counter Strike 2D. I won't elaborate on it, but I thought I should at least tell you why I've slowed down with my blog.

If you want to, I would recommend checking it out. If you see me (same name), say hi.

Well, that's really all there is to it.

I don't know, but I do

Hello Internet,

Today is Victoria day, and for one reason or another, I wish it wasn't.

Let me explain: my whole day was very boring. I woke up, made breakfast and some pizza dough for lunch, play some games I've played at least 3 times already, go make pizza (homemade, not that frozen garbage), games, t.v. etc.

Until now, I was bored half to death while trying to decide what to do. Should I force my grandmother off the television, or go play video games?

To top it off, it is around 30 degrees Celsius and I am burning to death.

Even worse, I have a stuffy nose that will not unclog itself no matter how long I blow (that's what she said, right?).

Not much in my day.

So, how did you spend your weekend? What do you do when you're bored? Post a comment.

Again With School

Hello Internet,

Firstly, I'd like to apologize. I haven't gotten around to post on my blog.

Secondly, it has come to my attention that this one person in my class has been skipping class. He always talks to the teacher an tries to waste time, something I don't like to do. Then he asks to go out into the hall for 15 minutes. That's right. 15 minutes.

By the way, he doesn't work in class.

Heck, just today, he came in late for first period, took the paper we were working on, and stuffed it into his desk. He was then sent to the office, but went walking around the school for the rest of the day.

I really don't like people to do stuff like that. They need to go to another school, one with more idiots and less smart people who want to make good use of their time.

Well, that's just my thought. What about you're thoughts? Post your comments below.

All in a days work...

Hello Internet,

Today in science class, we were doing an experiment where we made a super-saturated substance. I went through all the trouble of measuring the beakers and the mass of the sugar, while other group members did their role.

We did what we had to do. We got a hot plate and heated it up and added lots of sugar to the water, until we concluded that there couldn't be anymore. All of this took about half the period (about 20 minutes).

At the end, we were supposed to find out how much sugar the water could take. Instead, one person in our group went over to the garbage can and dumped the remainder of the sugar. I tried (with little effort) to stop him.

I believe he volunteered to do the experiment on his own again in the morning, but for the rest of the day (it was the last period, so that wasn't very long), I sarcastically said "Good job" to him.

Honestly, I wasn't very mad at him because he actually put a good amount of effort into the actual experiment and didn't slack off.

Now, I don't quite know what to ask here, so just put your own thoughts about this story below. If you can add you own stories, that would be great.

Gosh, it's probably 30 degrees in here

Hello Internet,

So, for the past 3 nights, I have been having trouble sleeping. As you can tell from the title, no, it's not nightmares I'm having. It's the heat.

Now, if you are using the imperial system and you thought I meant 30 degrees Fahrenheit, you were wrong. I meant Celsius.

Anyways, I've been having trouble. I've been complaining to my parents to turn the air conditioning on, but they don't feel like it and I'm really into helping the environment, so neither of us do that.

I have a fan in my room (more like an air filter), but that doesn't help as it only blows cold air at you.

Both of the windows are open and I swear, it is so much cooler outside, so I don't know what is causing this extremely hot temperature.

My experience now is similar with my experience in China. I sleep without a blanket at 30+ degrees Celsius. It is certainly not nice. To all of you who have the AC on, I commend your ability to afford it and not think about the environment.

Well, that's my own thought. What about you? What do you think about hot, cold, whatever temperature you don't like? Post a comment below.

Bloody heck, what are you doing?

Hello Internet,

So today I was walking home. A fairly nice day as a matter of fact. I had a good day at the start, which was ruined by a dance (I went to study hall, might talk about later), and a brief, but painful confrontation of a former classmate that I hate.

Anyways, back on topic. Again, I was walking home from my alright day when I look over to my right to see a playground for students attending the school nearby.

All the innocent little kids played their with their friends with their little adventure, all those good memories rushing back.

Until I saw this lady with one foot on a metal bar you are supposed to climb on, rubbing her foot on it. I was utterly disgusted beyond my belief. It was a disturbing sight, seeing her foot being rubbed vigorously on a bar that might just be infected with lots of germs.

I must say, I am scarred for life. I will not forget this image for a long time.

So, my question for you today would be: what was the weirdest, most disturbing, grossest, etc. thing you ever saw? How did you react? Post your comments below.

Oh! Happy Day!

Hello Internet,

So two things happened today that really made my day, and one that destroyed it, so in all, it was a good day.

First off would be the negative part of my day. We were working on a project for about a month. We had to make 2 of the same project. The first one apparently wasn't good enough for the teacher. We made a second one and put less glue. When we took it out to test it, it was all bent and broken, so he told us to go make another one. I know, sucks. I hate that teacher.

Well, for the first thing that was positive of my day was that my good friend at www.howsmyapp.com - check it out - accepted my request for joining his site.

The second would be that, for once in a very long time, I upgraded a bit of technology. That would be my iPod. Every other thing is still as old as can be, so I'm happy that for once, I am finally caught up in today's technology.

Well, that was my day, what about your day? How was it? What happened? Leave a comment below.

What are they teaching in schools?

Hello Interwebs,

I was coming back from some lessons and I was listening on the radio that next year, they are going to teach more about sex ed.

I'll tell you what they said the government is doing, but remember, there is a bit of language revolving around sex ed that will be coming up, so viewer discretion is advised (not really).

Just a reminder, this post has a bit of more mature language. If you are too immature to handle that, scroll down quickly with your eyes closed.

Well, apparently they are going to be teaching about homosexuality to first graders. That's right, first graders! I know it is about homosexual marriages, but how in the world will a parent of the child look the teacher in the eye when she knows he/she is teaching all this fun, cuddly (again, not really) stuff and sex ed at the same time. I think that this should at least be postponed until the third grade.

Also, they are going to be teaching about masturbation to sixth graders. Yes, you read this post correctly, they are going to be teaching kids about the act of pleasing your sex organs. No joke, this was on the news. I do believe the next generation does deserve to know about this, but I think this topic should be postponed to at least grade 7.

Finally, in grade 7, they area teaching about anal and oral sex. Now they are just getting a bit out of hand here. I'm pretty sure everyone should be able to figure out what both of these mean through the internet. Quite disgusting indeed. Now, actually, I believe this topic really should be kept where it is as people really should be concerned about the possible health effects of oral or anal sex.

Well, at least the government is thinking about what might have gotten into other generations with these "facts" your friends make up just to try to sound smart. I bet the government is simply tired of people going out and making some 14 year old female pregnant or hearing people walk down the street giving away false information, or even forcing these kids to learn through experience or other sources. Well, I believe that it is a good idea, just move the topics up a couple of grades.

That was a long write-up. Anyways, post your comments about your opinion to this topic. Do you think it is a good or bad idea to teach kids about sex? Post your comments below.

Thanks for reading,

By the way, please don't judge me by this topic. I heard this on the news, I thought it was an interesting topic to share to you who don't live around the area or don't read the news.

Drive-through ATM's

Hello Internet,

On my way home from some lessons on Wednesday, I looked out the window and saw a bank. Now, this bank was a normal bank, with the one exception of the fact that it had a drive through.

Maybe I am just a bit slow when it comes down to technology (I still have a Gamecube, I'm not going any farther in the Apple products, and I still watch t.v. from a small screen). Maybe life is becoming to simple. Maybe it's a way to make it easier for people to find out your bank pin. I don't know, you tell me. Post a comment on why you think they are making drive through ATM's now.

My opinion is that people have become lazy to the point in which walking is too difficult, even if it only about 50 meters away from your car. People have to have things done right where they are sitting.

Also, technology has gotten advanced to the point in which people invent these pointless, wasteful machines simply because they can and they can make a profit from it.

Well, that's just my opinion, so, again, post you comment below.

Disapointments

Hello Internet,

Don't you just hate it when your friend or family member or someone else lets you down one way or another? Well, that just happened to me. I was supposed to go watch a move (Date Night if you must) with my sister.

Well, actually, we were supposed to watch it right after school, but my sister was taking some lessons, so she didn't come home until around 6 p.m. By then, we had dinner and it wasn't until around an hour ago (7 p.m.) when I asked if we were going to watch a movie.

My sister then suggested Date Night and I was all excited about going. Since it is at 9, our parents were concerned about our safety and they didn't want to watch Date Night, so they asked their friends if they wanted to go with them to watch Shutter Island.

Their plan backfired. None of them wanted to go, and since we don't have any safe form of transportation (to them at least, I wouldn't mind walking by myself at night) so we couldn't go.

So many other times I have been disappointed when my friend told me that they couldn't go with me somewhere or something else.

What about you? Have you ever been disappointed when someone says that they can't go or you can't go with them? Post a comment and share your thoughts about disappointments.

Awkward Situation

Hello Internet,

So, today I went to attend my friend's birthday party. Well, since my friend and I had to go to different schools, we have a different group of friends. Well, my friend's friends were new to me.

So, I, as my nervous self around new people, kept quiet around them and tried to stay away from most of the talking, since I didn't know what type of jokes they like, the websites the like, the games they enjoy playing. I let the others do most of the talking while I simply did my thing.

I didn't say most of the jokes I would say around my friends since I knew what type of jokes they liked, and some of the jokes my friend's friends told, I didn't find funny whatsoever.

I felt awkward and isolated. It was like the feeling the day I started school. I didn't want to talk to anyone since I went to a different school than the rest of my friends.

Well, that's enough about me. What about you? What do you do when you are with a group of people that you don't know that much about? Post a comment and share your own thoughts.

Family Fun Time

Hello Internet,

2 things. First, 60th post, yay!

Anyways, the second thing would be that I went to the zoo with my family today. We walked for practically 5 or so hours. Our feet at the end were very sore, however, it was very fun going there. We saw many different animals, and all that stuff, the only thing would be that I already saw those animals at least 5 times before.

The good thing about this trip, however, would be that I got to spend lots of time with my family, which is good. We took many pictures and we had a good time. We visited the usual, except one area since we were way to tired.

Well, I'm tired right now anyways, so I will like to simply say: happy Easter Sunday/Monday, depending if you celebrate or just take the Monday off. So, how did you spend your Easter, or how to you plan to spend your day off, if you have one? Post your comments and share what your doing this holiday.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid and How to Train Your Dragon

Hello Internet,

Last Saturday I went to watch two movies: Diary of a Wimpy Kid and How to Train Your Dragon.

I'll start off with Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid really wasn't that good of a movie. If you are about 8 years old and you enjoyed the book, I would assume you would like this movie. Otherwise, I would recommend you stay away from this movie.

The acting was good, it's just the characters. They have a very cliche personality. A middle school kid who is just a jerk, until he learns his lesson at the end of the movie, an older brother who is mean to his little brother, etc. Everything you'd expect about a stereotypical Caucasian family with 3 kids.

The story is basically the usual lesson that you learn in grade 1. Don't discriminate and be a good friend by sticking up for them.

So, again, if you liked the book, check it out, but don't expect anything good. I would give this movie a 5/10.

Now, How to Train Your Dragon was actually a good movie. How to Train Your Dragon had intense action scenes which kept me on the edge of my seat.

The story, however, was a typical "find someone/thing that character likes, but gets rejected". Alright, so maybe you don't get as many movies like that, which is really good.

There's not much to say about the movie without spoiling it, but it is indeed a very good movie. Go watch it. I would rate this movie a 8/10.

Well, that's just my opinion, if you read the book of either movie, or watched the movie, tell me, did you enjoy it? Did you loathe it? Post your comments below.

Bringing home an instrument

Hello Internet,

My school has a stings program in which I have to take otherwise I won't get a mark for it. So, I tried out the bass first, then the viola. I decided to stick with the bass because I wanted to play it.

Well, in case you didn't know, a bass is an extremely large instrument. Well, since it is the long weekend, I decided to take it home. I wanted to practice over the weekend.

My mom picked me up from school so I could actually transport the bass home. When I actually put it down in my room, I noticed it was about half the size of my room.

Later that night I practiced for about a half hour. It was fun and my sister helped me a bit since she use to have that same teacher when she went to my school.

Not much else happened, but I guarantee that I won't be taking it home unless there is a long weekend. I just had to get a post out.

Bad Editor

Hey Internet,

So I had some assignment edited by someone in my class and I read it around 5 minutes ago and boy it was some terrible editing that person did.

First off, he was able to track changes, but he was unable to make comments, so he put a little insertion at the end of the paragraph that needed a bit of changing. He did very little editing (of course) and he added or removed some words that should be there.

His editing didn't make any sense to me.

Well, I edited his assignment and I tried my best. I omitted any unnecessary words and made decent comments. He would insert a word in the middle of the sentence where it only stated one person and the word "he" and he would put "WHO?", all in capital letters. Also, he barely made any changes. With me, at least one change per paragraph, and that's still bad for me.

Well, when I sent him his copy that I edited, I added a little note saying not to edit my work until he learns to edit work (it was a polite note).

Well, that's the end of my story, what's yours? Have you had a bad editor? Are you one of them who can't edit for beans? Post your comments below.

Hello people of the world that is called the Internet,

So, today's question would be why doesn't anyone post comments? I feel like nobody is actually reading my posts, but just visiting it for fun.

Remember

Hey Internet,

Remember back in February the 19th, I said I'd tell you what I was doing? Well, I went to an outdoor education center called Mono Cliffs and here's what we did there.

Well, on the first day, we arrived at school like usual, except when we were supposed to go to home form, we stayed in the cafeteria until the buses came. I sat beside my friend and we talked. The bus ride was about 1 1/2 hours long. When we got to Mono Cliffs, we first went in to the meeting center. I'll assume that's what is was called. They went over the basic things about staying at Mono Cliffs.

By the way, it was snowing a lot outside.

After that, we had lunch, which we had to bring (I will not name all of the dishes we had). After that, we went to where our dorms were located. In there, we made our way in to the common room where we got our room numbers. I was unfortunately stuck with two other people that I didn't want to be with.

I only knew that the trip was going downhill from then. It did at some points.

We unpacked and went to the meeting room to get assigned our groups. I was in the Fire group. Our first activity, which I think was cross country-skiing. We tested it out and it was tiring. The hills were like Mount Everest on cross-country skis as I wasn't used to them.

After that, I believe we had a little break before dinner. Our first dinner was chicken fingers and something else.

After dinner, we got our night program group. I believe I was in the Comet group (yes, very inconvenient). The activity was just a bunch of boring outdoor activities, but we had a fire going and roasted marshmallows.

So, the first two activities were not fun. However, we got an hour to just play around with some games of cards of anything. Before long, it was lights out.

The second day started at 4 a.m. for me. I got a nosebleed and had to clean it up. I did go to sleep again, but it was only three hours before we had to get up.

We got our stuff on and left for breakfast. That day I think we had omelet. Maybe it was the next day, but the omelet was terrible. After breakfast, we went out in to the forest to learn some wilderness survival tips. We learned how to build a shelter out of snow and 9 people were able to fit inside.

Well, after that, we went to eat lunch. At lunch, I remember having this soup with beans in it. Well, after lunch, we went on a larger cross-country ski course. It was 2 1/2 hours of skiing. Well, besides my feet killing me, the constant waiting for idiots to hurry up, being out of breath all the time, and the beans reacting to my stomach making it ache all the time, it was not all that good. We had to go around twice and it definitely was not worth the experience.

After that wretched experience, we had a little time to play frisbee and go back for other things before dinner. I obviously went to the washroom passing a lot of gas. After, my stomach felt much better.

I went to play frisbee with the others, which was pretty tiring (fortunately, I made the good decision of going to the washroom before frisbee).

Dinner was a great improvement from the soup of lunch. I don't quite recall what we had.

Well, after dinner, we went to the area we were supposed to go for our evening program. It was a night hike. We went out into the forest. It was pitch black. We played that one game. Remember that one where someone would shout that word in Wildfire and we had to hide, the closest who didn't get caught won.

Anyways, it was interesting. We had some candy, where if you were to bite really hard, it would spark.

Again, after the evening program, time to wash up and play. The only thing was that I think that there was this one guy in the shower that actually opened the curtains to the shower when someone was changing. Then we played.

Well, I woke up at an early hour again. I think that I actually stayed up from around 5-7 a.m.

Well, we had breakfast like usual. Then we went on and about on a pioneer hike where we looked at some rocks piled to make the cellars. Not much interesting to be honest.

After lunch, we went on this nature hike where we went to some barn where they keep a few animals. After that we had a break. Then dinner.

After dinner we went to the meeting room where the night program was really just trying to make a skit (4 scenes) in about 15 minutes. It was really hard and my group didn't do so well as we had no time to think of anything original. We had to make the skits on how we can conserve on one of the 4 topics, which I think are: saving energy, not wasting food, not wasting water and creating less waste. We were stuck with saving energy, which was pretty easy.

Same thing for the night.

Again, woke up the in middle of the night.

We woke up for the final day. We had breakfast and we went on to do our last activity.

We went on an ecology hike. We saw the (forgot the name) where there were many rocks and plants that took hundreds of years to grow as there were very little sunlight going down there. I was really interesting. We also saw a live porcupine that was sleeping. A very rare sight.

Well, after that, we had pizza for lunch and then we left for home.

Well, there you go.

Green Zone

Hello Interwebs,

So last Tuesday or so, I went to see Green Zone, so I'm going to review it without telling too much about the story.

Green Zone. I enjoyed the action to an extent where it made James Bond look like the Phantom of the Opera. Yes, I was into it every moment from the beginning where there was a lot of commotion (in the movie) to the very end.

Now, the thing about Green Zone that is not very good, would be the story. The story is about the Iraq war. All the way through, I felt that this is related to the Hurt Locker in some way, which is a good thing, but remember, it isn't. Well, the story from the beginning to the near end, was extremely confusing. The writers must have forgotten to wrap any loose ends until the end. Fortunately, there were no more loose ends, at least not for me.

Well, that's all I have to say about Green Zone without any spoilers.

Post your opinion about this movie. Did you watch it? Do you think it was good? If you didn't watch it, do you think it would be a good movie?

Why does it feel like...

Hello Internet,

So today is a Wednesday and for me, it is March Break. In case you don't know, March break is a week off from school. Simple as that. A whole week. That's 120 hours, plus the 96 hours for the weekends.

That's a lot of time you could spend. However, when you spend it doing thing like posting on a blog or playing video games of watching movies (watched Green Zone, will post about it later), time really flies. Really.

Well, about half the break is over, but I feel like today is a Saturday and must do many thing before I have to go to school again. I wish that school lasted 7 months and the break lasted 5.

I'm not saying we should have 5 consecutive months off, maybe split the 5 months and spread the 5 months within the school year.

Well, that's what I think. Post your opinion on breaks, and school breaks.

That's all.

Yay, I won!

Hello Interwebs,

So after school, a classmate came over to my house so we could work on the project. When we decided to call it a day, I walked with him to the bus stop to ensure he didn't get lost.

When I got there, I went to the Tim Hortons close by there. In case you don't know what Tim Hortons is, it is a store that sells coffee and other hot beverages and food.

Well, at the moment, they're having a contest. I heard you have a larger chance of winning if you got large, so I did. I paid my $1.86 and I started drinking. When I finished, I looked and it said that I won! Well, the prize was only a donut, but it was still a plus.

I was so happy, I jumped for joy, but when I did, my wallet fell out. Fortunately, a neighbor of mine found it and returned it to me with everything in it.

Well, that's just my story. Why not share your story? Go ahead and comment about your contest winning stories, if you have any.

What in the World?

Hello Internet people,

So, I would post something interesting, however, TML's blog (http://tmlsblog.blogspot.com/) got me to forget my topic. I apologize.

Due to my memory loss, I will open the comments to any suggestions that you may want me to write about. Just remember it has to be appropriate.

Well, for now, I'm just going to continue talking about swimming pools.

So the place I swim used to just have "Slow", "Medium", and "Fast" lanes. Now they made it "Medium, Slow", "Medium, Fast" which sucks on my end and I'll tell you why.

I swim slowly when I swim constantly, which I don't. I swim fast when I swim once, then rest. I swim in between fast and medium at my regular pace. The "Medium, Slow" lane is filled with people who swim as fast as turtles on land. The "Medium, Fast" lane is filled with people who swim as fast as turtles in water. There's no "Medium Fast" where I belong, so I'm stuck with either swimming behind some slowpoke, or getting pushed back by the second Michael Phelps.

The only other thing I don't like would be the water. The temperature has probably been lowered by 10 degrees. It only feels right after 5-10 minutes in the pool.

That's all my complaints about that particular swimming pool. So, tell me about your experiences with swimming pools.

Why are people so curious?

Hey Internet people,

After school, we were supposed to be working on a project, but the teacher wasn't there.

These two other people, one in our group, the other not, are talking about who the person in our group likes. He kept on asking who it was and I just backed off because I didn't want to get involved with any blackmailing.

Plus it is his life and he has the right to keep shut (at least in my country).

So my questions for today is: why are people so curious about who one likes? Have you ever been asked that question?

I believe that people want to know so they can go around telling everyone about it and blackmailing the someone to do something or else they'll tell the person they like.

I have been asked that question once. I answered truthfully and I actually was able to get over that person (the person was quite playful and too many people already like her).

Well, that's all I assume.

Yay Canada

Hello Interweb,

So I was watching the final hockey game of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics (the one that U.S.A. lost because of the overtime, the gold medal, men's hockey, Canada vs. U.S.A.).

I watched from the 3rd part of the game (look, I don't watch hockey that much) and I could believe that Canada won as they keep on saying that hockey is Canada's game. Well, they now have a gold medal to prove it.

I'm proud to be Canadian, even if they came in third.

What surprises me the most is that U.S.A. had the same total point value, assuming that golds = 3, silver = 2, bronze = 1, as Germany did. They tied with 70 points, but U.S.A. had more medals, so they came in first. Canada would have been in third anyways, and at least they came in third place.

So, tell me about your experiences with the 2010 Olympics. Was it fun? What place did your country come in? Post your comments and share your 2 cents.

Movie Review #1 - Shutter Island

Hey Internet,

Yesterday, after school, I went out to see a movie. I saw Shutter Island.

Now, I will try not to spoil anything for this movie.

Shutter Island really got me to the edge of my seat. Every moment, I was with it, I was listening. Now listening is very important to being able to enjoy this movie. It has a lot to do with the story that makes this movie so good. It's not like other action movies that consist of shooting and chase scenes.

Shutter Island does have some action in it, however, it is not another James Bond film. It is because of how the story is written that got me into the movie, not the action.

I apologize for the extremely short review, however, considering that I don't want to spoil anything, here you go. Watch the movie and don't miss out on it.

What Happened on Feb. 8 2010

Hey Internet peeps,

So I promised to tell you guys what happened on Feb. 4. So here it is.

It all started at lunch at school. I usually went to a friends house to play video games, and I still do. He doesn't live too far, but his mom drives us there anyways.

Today, we walked about a quarter way there, then my friend's mom comes by. So we get on the car, another friend going on the back seats, and I got on the middle seats (it was a van).

While I was getting on, I knocked over a bottle and it rolled out of the car. So I went to pick it up but this driver (Chinese, female, go ahead and post your stereotypes) started to drive, even though a door was still open, and I was reaching out to get the bottle.

No, I didn't die, but I'm pretty sure by now you can guess that I got hurt. So I was reaching when suddenly the car started moving, so I lost my balance and fell on the road. The road scraped my knees and hurt my hand.

Guess what? The driver was still in motion while I fell. The van ran over my foot and scraped it. It hurts to move it, but I'm okay. When I got run over, I couldn't stand up. Eventually, I made it up and continued on with my day.

Well, that's my story. Go ahead and make fun of Chinese drivers if you must, but please keep the vocabulary choice appropriate.

Terrible Smelling Deodorant

Hello Internet peeps on your computer,

So today at school, a friend of mine brought a terrible smelling deodorant to school. I don't know why, but he did. He sprayed it on himself everytime he was at his locker. The moment he sprayed it, the whole hall started to smell like cheap perfume. It made people (including me) cough due to the pollutants that were spread when sprayed.

Well, it did do what it promised, it attracted 2 girls (as said on the back). It also got people wondering who sprayed it. The smell was very strong for deodorant. Heck, the one I use only covers up the bad smell ommitted from my underarms. Deodorant should not have to smell as strong as the product my friend was using.

Well, that's just my two cents about that product. If you know what I'm talking about (product) leave a comment and share your thoughts on this mystery product.

Industries

Hello Internet peeps,

So I was on a trip with my class today to a historic area in my city. We (the group that went there) were having a nice time. There were bird dung on the grass, but that was frozen so it didn't bother me so much (everyone else is different).

However, the most annoying thing there was the smell. We didn't know where the smell was coming from until our guide told us it was from a factory making meat nearby. That disgusted many of us and it made me think about what the industry is doing to us and the environment.

They are first of all polluting, second making meat that smells bad when being cooked near a historic area and third it made us complain. I don't think they should be doing this.

What do you thing? Post your comments and share what you have to say about the industry.

Public Swimming Pool

Hello Internet people reading my blog,

So today I went swimming at a public pool. Right now I smell like chlorine and my eye burns a bit from soap, but it'll clear up soon. What I don't like is the people swimming there.

For starters, when you go lane swimming (that's swimming back and forth in a designated lane), there's always that one person who never takes a break and gores at less that 0.25 km/ph (that's slow by the way). Then there are people who are too fast for you and end up touching your feet. There's a lot of space beside of me, just go in front if you want to swim fast.

Don't even get me started on swimming pools with young children in them.

Sometimes, there's this one person walking in the middle of a lane when you're supposed to be swimming.

I personally like public swimming pools, but I wish I'd get one for myself every now and then.

That's what I think about public swimming pools. Post your comments about them and tell me what you think.

Again with Public Transportation

Hello Internet peoples,

I am, again, going to be talking about the public transportation in my area. Seriously, after they raised the prices for the tickets and all, I'm just thinking Man, will the drivers stop thinking about themselves? They make a lot of money already, and now they're asking for more? and I'm fine if the drivers need more for their family and all, but couldn't they at least do a better job?

So I was waiting at the bus stop, and around 10 minutes later, my friend and I went to the next stop for the fun of it. Another 3 minutes later, a bus finally comes. That's not the problem of today.

So, it was my stop, I press the "Stop" button. The bus was a bit full, but it could have easily squeezed in the three people waiting at the stop, but it kept going and didn't stop at my stop.

That wasn't all. After the intersection, the bus finally stopped and let me out, however, the back door didn't open for who knows why. I had to go around to the front while maneuvering around the people standing there. I finally got out and started walking home.

That's the end of my story. Post you comments about your own stories.

Gravitational Forces

Hello people of the Internet,

So, today during our music class, we were just waiting to play our instruments. Our teacher was just about to let us play when this guy just fell out of his seat. He then had to go up to the teacher and explain what happened.

He couldn't look up apparently and he said that he took a breath and fell off the chair.

Later, after lunch, we were lining up to go to our class when I asked how he fell. He replied that he choked (I don't know what). It was really weird.

Blank Mind

Hello Internet people,

So today, While I was coming home, I got off the bus and crossed the street once, then when I was about to, I was thinking.

Actually, I wasn't really thinking, however, my mind was completely blank. I had no idea where I was, what I was doing. I was just standing there looking like an idiot.

The worst part about it was I was about to cross the street. It showed a walk sign, I was planning on moving, but my brain has practically just got off work and took a vacation for about 5 seconds.

When I came back to reality, I noticed that I was supposed to walk, so I crossed the street and made my way home. I hope no one saw me standing like a moron.

So, do you have any incidents where your brain turned off temporarily? Have you ever wanted to? Post your comments and share what you have to say.

Gruesome books?

Hello Internet,

So I'm reading this book called Misery by Stephen King, and I'm at around 200 pages. For once, I was actually scared to continue to read since the antagonist cut of the main character's foot. It was actually gruesome as I imagined it in my head, and boy, was it disturbing.

That rarely happens to me as I find it is just words. Words don't scare me, that was, until then (and probably when I start reading The Shining). Pictures or videos disturb me more than words, and that will always be true, but those words made a picture in my mind that just gave me the shivers.

So, what do you have to say about scary sections of books, or overall horror novels? Post your comment and have your say about these books that just make you jump.

Uncalled for insults

Hello Internet,

So today at school, I got to my locker earlier than the the person beside me, who usually gets to his locker before me. He tried to hurry me up by counting in his seconds (which isn't really a second). I then said

"If time went as fast as you can count, we'd still be in the first century."

Then someone else comes along and says

"Well, if time went as far as he can count, we'd be in the first century."

I don't feel bad about saying this insult to that person. Why? Not because I'm that bad of a person and I don't feel sympathy, it's because it was actually kind of funny, and I don't think that person was actually insulted.

Well, if I did say that and that person was insulted, I'd apologize and stop.

What do you have to say? How often to you insult people? Why? What is your opinion on insults? Post your comments and share what you have to say.

Skiing

Hello people of the Interwebs,

Yesterday, I went skiing. I went with my friend and we started off with the smaller hills. Then, we saw a larger hill and people coming down it, so we decided to get our tickets upgraded to be able to go on the lifts for the larger hill.

The weirdest thing that I while still skiing on the small hills was that there were children and Chinese adults taking lessons and on the small hills. I don't know why (and I'm not trying to be racist) Chinese adults don't know how to ski, but I'm not going to commnent.

When we got on the lift, we were scared. Scared about falling from the chairlift and scared about the hill. We started with the easier hills, then I went on a medium hill. I lost track of my friend so we tried to find her before we got on the chairlifts again.

What's weird about skiing is that when you slip and fall, instead of just falling, you slide, fall, and then roll. When you're on the ground with skis, you have to take them off. I fell on one of the hills and I was stuck there for 10 minutes trying to get one of my skis back on. Other than that, the trip was really fun.

So, what are your stories about skiing? What did you guys do that makes it different from any random ski trip? Comment below and share what you have to say.
